Exploring a variety of modalities towards health and wellness has been a real lifelong adventure in expanding my views and experiences of health of the mind, body and spirit. Working as a Registered Nurse for 36 years in a variety of settings such as hospital, community and first nations nursing, I have always felt very “on purpose” when caring for patients and their significant others during their times of illness, loss and death. It has always been an honour for me to hold space during such vulnerable and challenging times for people. As an Equine-Assisted Support Certified Life Coach I thoroughly thrive in using my skills and experiences to provide resources and support to my clients. I have completed a 2 year professional course in Shamanic studies earning Medicine Rites with The 8th Fire/Algonquin Medicine man Pete Bernard. I am a certified Death Doula and have been at the bedside for several years as a Palliative Care Nurse in hospice settings. Exploring energy medicine modalities such as Reiki, Animal Talk, Therapeutic Touch and Hot Stone Massage are some of the healing modalities I have also thoroughly enjoyed.

I feel grateful to have deepened my relationship with myself, life and spirit through the mentoring of a variety of teachers in my own life during times of difficulty. These difficulties and challenges no longer define me and who I am, rather they have become conduits to my growth and soul purpose. It truly is my honour to hold space for you and those who wish to join the horses and me and look at ways to provide soulful selfcare, self compassion and modalities to heal, recover and thrive in one’s own life. #HorsePower
